That said, he does have generally good intentions, even if his methods tend to be rather aggressive. Tengen's personality is a bit all over the place, courtesy of his harsh childhood and his attempts to move away from his father's teachings. Tricked by his parent into killing a few of his siblings, Tengen eventually left the nest to try and carve out a path for himself. Born into a ninja clan and trained by his cruel father, Tengen was thought to only ever seek self-fulfillment, regardless of the cost to anyone else.
In a nice change of pace, Tengen's backstory doesn't have all that much to do with demons that said, it is still tragic.
